Our Story

The InterBrosa Wine Group is an evolving family owned company that is well established in the global wine industry since 1999. We specialize in creating modern wines but still maintaining the roots and essence of the Spanish traditional great character wines. 

The InterBrosa Wine Group were founded by CEO Michael  Albertsen. Michael has always had very close contact with the Spanish wines as he initially worked as a wine buyer in Denmark and later on as as sales executive for Spanish wineries for many years. 

Our Origins 

In 1999 Michael decided that he wanted to share his experience in the wine business with the rest of the wine lovers around the world. InterBrosa initially started collaborating with Spanish wineries trading their wines.

Later on, Michael felt that he knew exactly what kind of wine the customers were demanding and decided to create his own line of wine. InterBrosa started working with several Spanish wineries located in the heart and most amazing wine producing regions of Spain. Together they would create our wine collections. 

Detunda varietals was our first line, following with our Carosol wines, Finca Lomilla and Gran Caleta to just mention a few. In 2013 we incorporated sparkling wines to our portfolio which we also are selling successfully around the world. Our latest addition to our portfolio is our new line of D.O. wines, Campo Abierto.

InterBrosa is build up by an experienced team that burn for what they do. Our mission is to create wines with a remarkable quality but also affordable so our clients can compete in their markets, delivering a wine that enters through the eyes and lingers in the mouth and mind of the final consumer.

Our wines are special. Not just because of their uniqueness in taste, but also because we enhance the grape qualities making the experience of our wines something we can be fully proud of.

Private brands
We have our own selection of brands, but we also focus on private brands to meet all our clients need in a wine.

Our wine specialists gather up in the wineries where they work closely to select and thoroughly produce our amazing wines. All our departments are closely working together every day, allowing our clients to be part of every stage of the winemaking process. Read more about our private brands.
